1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored hashed). When you use Selph, we store the reference photos you upload, the identities you create, and the images generated on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the Selph service
  • Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
  • Generate AI images using your reference photos via Google Gemini
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., receipts, account notices)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your uploaded photos and generated images are stored as private files and are only accessible to you when authenticated. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Selph uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored by us.
  • Google Gemini — AI image generation. Reference images are sent to Google's API to produce outputs.
  • Vercel — hosting and file storage.
  • Neon — database hosting.

5. Your Rights

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can delete individual identities and generated images directly from your dashboard.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Selph is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
